The Advisory Committee is a group of multi-stakeholders within a specific sector that provide strategic guidance to the Seal Unit on its implementation and way forward. The committee also plays a key role in promoting the uptake and recognition of the initiative, facilitating cross-sectoral collaboration, contributing to the review and update of the Seal guidance documents and offering advice on the scope, methodology and implementation of the Seal initiative.
The current advisory committee members for the tea sector are as follows:

Planters Association of Ceylon
Tea Exporters Association
Plantation Human Development Trust
The Seal Initiative for the tea sector also has a youth advisory group, who provides insights into youth perspectives on issues in the specific sector as well as support the Seal Unit during assessments.
